The main objectives of the new department under EIC (civil) is to provide the approval for the site plans and the structural designs and drawings of the ROADS and R.O.B's, BRIDGES and BUILDINGS.

This department t mainly focused into planning out the basic structural needs of the construction of bridges, roads and buildings.
